Diary and thoughts on setting up and using a small shed as a workshop. Using and improving metalwork tools such as a pillar drill and small lathe. Home foundry work melting aluminium in a flowerpot furnace.
Most shed based engineers spent a lot of effort avoiding getting their work and tools rusty. Artist Tom Deko has however, actively sought rust to give colour and life to his recycled metal sculptures. These can been seen until 17th October at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery on Conway Street near Fitzroy Square in London.
