Women Welders

Thanks to Freyja-Frigg of Tig Mig Frig, I’ve found out about three talented welders.

Tig Mig Frig have interviewed Jackie Lundman who is a teacher at a trades school. Jackie took a trades discovery program back in 1996 and has been a welder for 13 years including redseal certification.

Rebecca Fox from San Francisco, California is a metal artist. Rebecca’s sculptures have wonderful curves and circular forms with smooth joins and junctions.

Sandra Bilawich works in many materials and is not afraid to use them in unusual combinations such as corten steel with gold leaf.
