Chinese New Year 2013 – Year of the Water Snake

I’d like to wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year and may your year of the water snake be a prosperous and plentiful one.

Here’s some robot water snakes for your edutainment.

The observant of you might have spotted that the above videos are of the HiBot ACM-R5 robot from Japan. My research suggests that there have been Chinese robots water snakes in development since at least 2001 but I can’t find any videos of their robots in action.
