Cancelled
Two of my favourite shows have been cancelled this year.
The Elephant and Castle Mini Makers Faire was London’s First Maker Faire but can’t secure the venue for this year.
However, there are plans for a Maker Con type of event.
Also the Model Engineer show at Sandown Park Race Course will not be on for 2015.
“In order to update and improve the Model Engineer Exhibition we are planning an all new MEX for 2016 in a new venue and with a new style and structure.
We are considering many fresh ideas for the 2016 Exhibition, to include a completely new presentation and an unprecedented experience.
Model engineering will, as always, be at the heart of the MEX and we will continue to present the very best of British and European model engineering, as has been our privileged for the last century.”

Pity. Guess you’ll just Have to go to the Maker Faire in NYC instead.
Yes, it’s a lucky that I won those that trip. Although I have been looking in Old Glory magazine for a steam faire that I can visit this year.
