Moved to the sun
Things have been a little quiet here on the Workshopshed Blog for a few months. The reason was that we were packing up and getting the house ready for sale and moving.
So the new home for Workshopshed will be Suffolk, a county rich with history from Traction Engines to Garden Equipment. It is also home to Tim Hunkin’s End of the Pier Show in Southwold, so expect a review of that later in the year.
The new format for the workshop is a long thin garage backed on with a smaller office room which I’ll use for electronics and project videos. There are some issues with the roof so likely will be a rebuild project and some point.
The workshop is also been used for overflow storage whilst we get settled in the house but should be able to get up and running with at least one bench before too long.
It is an ok space and there are good areas outside for casting so hoping to do some more of that this year.
