Books for the Home Machinist

Model Engineers in the UK will all be familar with the workshop practice seriesof books, and authors such as Stan Bray, David Fenner and Harold Hall.

Harold Hall kindly got in touch and pointed out these have been converted by Fox Chapel Publishing for the American Market, although some reviewers have been critical that these changes are perhaps not enough. If you already have the Workshop Practice books by these authors then it’s probably not work buying these. But if you don’t then these will be better value for US Home Machinists as they are published in the USA. The books are all good general reading for model engineers and the authors all know their stuff.
