I’m not the only person using a small furnace in my back garden.
West Texas RC Dog has made his own furnace and completed some lost foam casting. He’s created some tools and some orniments for the house. The site also has details of radio controlled model planes and CNC.
My Heap is a comprehensive site with a wide variety of casting and molding resources. There is a detailed journal of how to make a furnace was made. There are notes on the Gingery Lathe and Shaper, including thoughts on getting a flat surface with scraping.
