The book looks at the projects from the Channel 4 series including those built with William Hardie such as George’s own back garden shed and the Sky Den tree house built for the Calvert Trust at Kielder forest.

Following George’s introduction there are the splendid buildings visited during the Texas Road Trip. Then the book is divided into Home, Garden, Work and Holiday spaces finishing off with a good index.

These small spaces projects look at the specific challenges overcome during each build and the people who made them. There is more detail and handy tips than in the show but this is an ideas and inspiration book rather than a how to guide.
