Animals at the Tower
Back in the history of the tower of London there used to be exotic animals such as lions, baboons and a polar bear. If you visit this year you can see these in sculpture form. Artist Kendra Haste has created life sized creatures from wire mesh over a steel structure.
There are 13 in total and I saw a few on a recent trip.
The hair on the baboons and mane on the lion are particularly well done.
The polar bear even has a manacle to stop it escaping.
An excellent exhibit, not sure where they hid the giraffe though.
